Do Not Disturb

The hanger on the doorknob asks for privacy. This page explains what the motel keeps behind it.

What is in the register

  • Check-in details: the email address, the hashed password, the first name you gave, the day you were born, your gender, plus anything you add to your room page.
  • Every chat, along with each woman's notes about you, which are the only memory she has.
  • A session cookie, and another that records your ringing of the bell at the desk.
  • The amount and reference of each payment. No cards are taken, so none is ever seen.
  • Routine server logs, held briefly to guard against abuse.

Why it is kept

The register is kept so the chat runs, the rules hold and the sign stays lit. Your messages pass to a language model, ours or a hired provider's for that one task, and a filter hunts for safety problems. No one can buy a chat from the desk, and advertisers never see one.

Counting the cars

A plain counter notes how many people drive in and from which countries. It cannot read your messages.

What you control

Every chat has a menu where you may rewrite her notes on you, copy the conversation out or delete it. To get the whole account wiped, mail the desk from the address on file. Should local law grant you something beyond all this, say what, and the desk will comply.
